The Potter's House Christian Academy is privileged to present to you Ocean Floor: 29 Emerging Poets Dive Beneath the Surface. This book gave 29 students the opportunity to ignite their passion for poetry outside of their personal comp book and pen. It gave them the chance to experience national recognition of something they could call their own- something most of the kids could only imagine. These poems are filled with a diverse mixture of intricate passion and thought symbolizing emotions of love and romance while intertwining feeling of remorse-dark poems of tragic loss, wounding punctures to the soul; Poems of serenity and honor, dominion and power, poems which give honor due to a faithful and just God who blessed us with a savior, Jesus Christ.
These poems were created and designed with you in mind, with hope and desire to encourage you to think outside of your comfort zone, engage in relating to these remarkable talented publishers and authors!

Aisha Brock is a 10th grader who likes to play basketball and reads he is a very efferent cent.
Samiah Bethel is a 9th grader who likes to play basketball and read she has a bubbly personality.
